Obituary of Allan Stanley Blahut

Allan Stanley Blahut, 65, of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away on April 13th, 2024 in St. Boniface Hospital.

Allan was born in Teulon to Stanley and Rose Blahut on February 16, 1959.

He worked as Maintenance for St. Mary's Academy for the last 20 years and retired on March 28th, 2024.

He enjoyed spending time out at Toniata, taking care of his lawn and gardening. He was proud of his prized tomatoes, they were always the biggest in the competition with his sisters (and yes, we are counting the one his mom ate before it was weighed).

Allan is survived by his wife Lori; children Robert (Chrissy), Andrew (Velvet) and Lisa (Cody); grandsons Dakota, Seth, Ayden and AJ; mother Rose Blahut; siblings Janice (Robin), Valerie (Dennis), Brian (Doreen), Dianne (Dan) and Darlene; his sisters-in-law Kathy and Trudy; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Stanley; and his step-father Lawrence Guiboche.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6. 

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to our neighbors Kelly, Didi, Myra and the two gentleman who ran over to help; and the Paramedics and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital.

Funeral Service will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion, 215 Maxwell King, East St Paul, Manitoba on April 19, 2024 at 11am.

Alterna Cremation will be handling the funeral arrangements.
