Obituary of Kathleen Mary Janice Harris

On Wednesday, March 27, 2024 our beloved Kathleen (Kathy) Mary Janice Harris (nee Knutson) passed peacefully into the arms of her loving Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. Kathy’s life of devotion to God was continually marked by her indomitable spirit, tireless devotion to the people in her life and a tenderness toward people in need, both near and far. 

Kathy was predeceased by her husband Robert Harris, parents Arthur and Kathleen Knutson and brother Bill Knutson.

She is survived by her brother Lawrence (wife Pearl, daughters Laura and Sarah), sister-in-law Darlene (daughters Melanie and Ashley), Aunt Marietta (Mary) plus numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. 

Kathy’s life was filled with her reaching out to family and friends using pen & paper, email and her big favourite, the telephone. We will all miss her detailed notes telling about her many travels / visits and her accompanying inquiries about our own health and activities. 

In lieu of flowers please designate a donation to Kathy’s church family at Rowandale Baptist Church in Winnipeg MB.

Memorial service to be held on Saturday May 11th at 11 am at Rowandale Baptist Church (162 Rowandale) with refreshments to follow.
