Obituary of Tammy Barbara Rossol
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Tammy Barbara Rossol, on her 41st wedding anniversary, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the young age of 64.
Tammy was born in Winnipeg, MB on August 27, 1959. Throughout life, she found joy in various activities like beach volleyball matches at Lester Beach, Manitoba with friends, tending to her vibrant garden filled with colourful flowers, and scouring thrift stores for unique treasures and little knick-knacks. She cherished her trips to Grand Forks alongside her girlfriends, relishing the adventures and laughter they shared. After a long successful career, she retired from CP Rail.
Tammy was predeceased by her parents Ethel Mitten (nee Gibson) and Gerhardt Almer Kullman.
She is survived by her husband John; daughters Jillian (David) and Lana; sister Gail (Brian, Brianne, Bradley); brothers Gary and Tommy (Rita); cousin Joan; in-laws Elisabeth (Willi), Barbara, and Julie (Pat); along with numerous special cousins, nieces and nephews. And we can't forget her four-legged love, her grand-dog Saige.
Mom's gentle and kind nature, her silly sense of humour and her selfless generosity will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her absence will be deeply felt by all.
Our family would like to express their gratitude to the St. Boniface Hospital staff for the care and support they provided to our beloved mother.
Her celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tammy’s memory may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10–120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
