We were saddened to hear from Chris that Bill had passed away. We have known and have been friends with Chris and Bill since 1973 when we moved in next door. We moved away from Winnipeg in 1980 but remained long distance friends. Bill faced many health crisis's in his retirement years but due to his strength and the stamina of his love, Chris, he remained a vital part of his family. Bill was a quiet man but you always felt his happiness in seeing you and I always noted his smile and comments in the background as Chris and I would talk on the phone about our lives and about his health. Bill's love and pride in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was always conveyed to others through his smile and the pride in his voice. Rest in peace Bill you will be missed by many. All our love to Chris, Russ, Sherry, Tony, Scott and all respective partners and children
