Obituary of Gary Joseph Klish
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Klish, a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was predeased by his wife Lori Klish, to whom he devotedly loved for over 25 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Dylan and Chelsea; his parents Joseph and Sheila Klish; siblings Perry Klish (Keri-lee), Shelly Drysdale (Ron), and Bradley Klish; and greatly missed by girlfriend Kim Patterson.
Gary's life was a testament to love, laughter, and the joy of living. He touched many hearts, and his absence will forever leave a void.
Gary was an avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed various sports, including B.C. Lions football and New York Islanders hockey. He also enjoyed poker, camping, and ATV quadding. Gary found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially when surrounded by loved ones. Weekends were often spent at Broken Head River Park, where he had a trailer and many close friends. You could also find him visiting the Transcona and Elmwood Legions, sharing cold beers with more friends.
In honour of Gary, his family would kindly request that donations be made to Cancer Care Research. Through his battle he showed great strength, resilience and an unwavering spirit that will forever live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. We hope to honour his memory by supporting efforts to find a cure for this devastating disease. We will forever miss your smile, laugh, generosity and kindness.
May you rest in peace, knowing that you were cherished and loved beyond measure.
