Obituary of Robert Edward Arscott
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Edward Arscott, after a courageous battle with cancer. Rob was born on August 11, 1969, in Toronto, Ontario, and departed from this world on September 16, 2024, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 55.
Rob's family was his pride and joy. He is survived by Tammy and his loving son, Brendan, who was the light of his life.
He was predeceased by his father, Edward, and will lovingly be remembered by his mother, Carolyn, as well as his brother Tim, and his sisters Debbi, Diane, and Donna. Rob's impact extended to his nieces and nephews, including Mitchell, Jessica A, Jessica R, Matthew, Justin, Kaitlyn, and Emily, who will forever hold him dear in their hearts. His presence was a source of joy and comfort to many family members and friends, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
For over 25 years, Rob worked in the plastics industry, where he found fulfillment and purpose. His commitment to his work was matched only by his infectious sense of humor. Rob had a gift for bringing laughter and joy to those around him, and his quick wit and warm smile could brighten even the darkest of days.
In accordance with Rob's wishes, a private cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal service. A small gathering will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Rob's name.
Robert Edward Arscott will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His laughter, love, and unwavering strength will be cherished and remembered for years to come. As we bid farewell to Rob,
