Obituary of Randall Gordon Hitoshi Terauchi

Randy was born on October 8, 1952 in Whitemouth, Manitoba and passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on September 14, 2024 at the age of 71.

He was predeceased by his father Gordon Terauchi, mother Miyoko Terauchi (nee Shimane), brother Daniel Terauchi and sister Nancy Yano (Toke).  

He is survived by sister Jean Hermanson (Lorne deceased), sister Amy Nagamatsu (Roy deceased) and sister Sandra Cohen (Laurie) and his two best friends, Charlie and Harold Stevens.   He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Randy worked as a colour consultant for Sherwin Williams Paint for many years.

He enjoyed football, hockey, baseball, curling and the casino.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Manitoba Japanese Cultural Center, 180 McPhillips Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba from 2 – 4 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetes Society.
