Obituary of Abram Frank Flaming

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Abe Flaming on January 19, 2020 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He is survived by his wife Karen of 51 years; one daughter Laurel Demler (Alan); two beloved grandchildren, Ayanna (Hyde) and Christian; one sister Nancy Kati (Arvind); two sisters-in-law Arlene MacDonald and Helen Flaming; plus numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Abe was predeceased by his parents, Abram and Sarah Flaming and two brothers, William and Kenneth. In accordance with Abe’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on February 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 637 Buckingham Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Abe may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or a charity of your choice.
