We met in 2013 while we were in a party, he was the most beautiful person I ever laid my eyes on and I felt like we had such a beautiful connection. Cam was such a wonderful soul, patient, attentive, kind, beautiful inside and out but hard to let people truly in. Cam, I know it’s been forever ago but sometimes I catch myself thinking about you! Is it weird to say when I think about you I do miss you very much? I have known about your departure for a few years now but I never had the courage to write you a message, not sure how to explain this but when you left I think I felt that somehow, like an urge to find you, something very complicated to explain, but easy to feel. I wish I had the chance to tell you how much you mattered to me. I wish you could see how wonderful you were and that you could do anything you wanted to. I am not sure about what happens after we pass but I hope you have found yourself in a beautiful and peaceful place where there’s only light and good feelings. I hope you are happy and all your pain is gone, I hope you find everything you ever needed, I hope wherever you are you are surrounded by love, peace and kindness. I still can’t believe you are gone, I still can’t believe you had to leave the way you did, I wish you have found the help you needed, the healing, the peace you deserved while you were here on earth, but even though I wish things were different I hope you have found everything on the other side and I want you to know I understand and I wish you well. I still remember your perfume, your beautiful smile, your good energy and how special you made me feel, all the little things. You were so proud of your health, your achievements, your home, you dreamed about that beautiful house in that nice French neighborhood in Winnipeg. You just wanted to be free and now you are.
Everything is now gone, but in my mind your will forever be just as wonderful as I can remember.
