Obituary of Wendy Elizabeth Rorabeck

Our beloved sister, aunt and friend Wendy Rorabeck passed away peacefully on February 4th, 2020. Predeceased by her parents Ed and Betty Rorabeck, her sister Joy and her brother-in-law Fred Troost, Wendy is survived and lovingly remembered by her sister Helen Gray (Don), brother Melvin (Sylvia); nephews Kennie, Darren, Todd and Jeff; nieces Jill, Julie, Janis and their families. Wendy will be forever missed by her life-long friend Judy Johnson-McCall, The Shindruk Family and Maureen and Katie Rogers. Wendy had many happy memories of the good times spent with her family and dear friends while growing up in Elmwood. She was employed by Hudson Bay Wholesale for a number of years, first in the office and later as a Sales Rep. After the Wholesale closed in 1987, Wendy worked for Pratt’s and for Cadbury Canada. She loved being a sales rep. and was respected and well-liked by her co-workers and customers. Our sincere thanks to the staff of “The Neighbourhood” at Poseidon Care Centre for looking after Wendy with kindness and compassion over the past six months. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date.
