A tribute to my beautiful sister;
I will miss my beautiful sister Roz in too many ways to count. Since the passing of her beloved soulmate, and husband Len Huppe back in 2007, we had been joined at the hip. As small children we were inseparable. We found that connection again for the last 12 wonderful years together. Rozzy was warm, witty and funny. She had children and adults alike in stitches when she broke out her delightful sense of humour. Roz was so talented and artistic. Always energetic, she put everything into her last days on earth.
In high school, she dabbled in theatre acting. After school, she became a professional song writer, singer in various bands and she was also an aspiring jazz and ballet dancer. She could have been famous, but for her love of her daughter Jenine and her decision to put her own aspirations behind, she chose to spend that time being an amazing mother.
She was kind to a fault. Her generosity knew no limits. Everyone who knew her still talk of her little gifts, cakes and goodies she would spread around to her friends. Even the strangers she befriended so easily.
She loved animals and would knit blankets for the Humane Society. She wanted them to be warm. Her compassion was endless.. I will miss these things that I found so adorable about my sissy. We shared a lot in common. I'm sad knowing that I won't have our precious little shopping and lunch dates to look forward to anymore. However; I am happy her pain is finally gone for good. Pain was definitely not something she earned in life.
Not a saint, she was most certainly was an angel who earned her wings here on earth. I can imagine her now, feeding her little birds and squirrels and laughing at their silly little antics.
Roz will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but especially by me who's known her from the beginning of our lives together. Sleep soundly, little angel, so that when we meet again your strength will be revived.
Sending love out to you Roz, as you spread your great energy to all who knew you. You are loved and will be held forever in our hearts. Until we meet again, as we both believed we always would.
...Your sissy Bear
