Obituary of Maria Rodak

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria “Bogush” Rodak on August 9, 2020 after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 65 years. Left to mourn Maria’s passing is her brother Daniel Jedroszkowiak. She was predeceased in life by her parents Jan and Krystyna Jedroszkowiak. Maria was born in Torun, Poland on December 26, 1954. As a child she immigrated to Canada with her family and grew up in the North End neighbourhood of Winnipeg and attended St. John’s High School. Maria worked for over forty years at Lifetouch / Winnipeg Photo. Because Maria was a true cat lover her entire life, please consider a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society in her memory. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
