Dear Scott--and Timothy,
The picture of Susan is so much as I remember her, with that open smile she always had and with such a warm personality behind it.
I have so many good memories of our friendship in Winnipeg, the back-and-forth between our houses. our mutual fondness for cats, and the tolerant friendship that developed between Buck and Willow, etc., etc. I'm sad to be so far away--with the border closed in any case, shutting down our Ontario summer place. What a time it has been.
Words never suffice. But my feelings and sympathy run deep.
