In 1979-1999, Bernice and Dave moved to Jamaica and had the adventure of a lifetime managing a beautiful resort in Negril called Tensing Pen. They met and loved many people from all over the world and to this day, Bernice is remembered for being tolerant of everything, so kind, warm and friendly. She is loved by everyone up and down the west end road of Negril. Every time Bernice came to Winnipeg, she would gather shoes, clothing, toys and anything she felt the people of Jamaica needed, especially for the children. She will always be known for having a huge heart and as a very caring individual. Bernice is loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
