My deepest condolences to family.
I had the absolute honour and blessing of knowing Deb for only a short 1 year window. She will forever live on in my memory as being the most incredibly upbeat and positive person; even in the face of hurdles and adversity. This world has lost a beautiful person.... but heaven has gained a one of a kind Angel.

Deb brought joy, laughter and seemingly a never-ending will to get the job done. She lives in our hearts and leaves us with the many good things she achieved. We wish everyone who loves and misses her strength and peace.

Dear Carlin,
I am sorry to hear about your loss with the passing of Deb. There will be a feeling of emptiness in your home. I hope that you'll find this space soon filled with the qualities of love and grace, which she expressed and which are still there because they are spiritual and are eternal. Deb has gone for her next adventure. We are all ideas in God's Mind.
My thoughts will be with you, may peace and comfort find you during this difficult time.
Love Mandeep

My deepest condolences to you at this time on the loss of your beautiful wife and mother. I loved Deb and counted myself as truly lucky for the friendship I had with her. I will always remember her willing ear, beaming smile and excitement for all adventures in life (hers and others) In the time I knew Deb I know she had touched a lot of lives. The pride she had for her family and professional ventures (especially seeing students succeed through the organizations she was associated with) was evident in her voice. I hope you can all find comfort in your friends, family and memories at this time, and know that you are all in my thoughts.

My most sincere condolences to Brian, Michael, Carlin and families.
Deb was a dear friend who I will forever miss. While I had met her many years ago, it was through our collaboration as colleagues at the Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA) where we developed a special kinship. For 11 ½ years, we were Team MEIA, working side by side every day, often facing interesting challenges and projects that we tackled together. We developed many techniques for dealing with aggravations, but laughter and humour were always front and centre. Unfortunately for our neighbours, sometimes we had to sing it out. While we were often frustrated, usually by lack of funds or resources, we never stopped having fun. Working with Deb was a joy. Every day I got to hear her great big laugh. Many visitors to the office will remember that wonderful welcoming grin as she wrapped them in a Deb hug. From the beginning, our relationship grew to a bond of friendship that we both cherished. It’s been my privilege to know and love Deb. Farewell, my friend.
