We have so many fond memories of Oma; as a friend, a most kind-hearted family loved one and a teacher of how to be a good person. For us we always thought of her as a grandparent full of wisdom and compassion.
While we have many fond memories of insightful conversations at family gatherings or the most gracious of hospitality at the Lester Beach cottage, most special memories are those when she was with children. We witnessed her as being a genuinely caring person to her grandchildren and also to our kids. Her love knew no boundaries and how she poured out her affection, sincere interest and support into the lives of the young ones was inspirational.
For us and our kids, we have been truly blessed for having the privilege of being a part of Oma's life. The memories of how she touched our lives in such a meaningful way will not quickly fade, rather be cherished as we remember her life of genuine goodness.
