Obituary of Fred Andresen

It is with great sadness that we announce Fred’s sudden passing on Sunday, July 18, 2021, in Winnipeg at the age of 76. Fred was born to Jean and Harry Andresen on June 27, 1945, in Morris, Manitoba. He was predeceased by both of his parents as well has his brother Larry Andresen. Fred always had to be busy. He worked for several different companies over his lifetime. Fred enjoyed gardening and during the recent hot weather and drought he made sure his garden was watered every day. Fred was always happy to share fresh produce with his friends. During Co-vid, Fred greatly missed going to casinos and playing slot machines, but he always made sure he bought his special numbers for lottery tickets. He had a love for bingo and played Kinsmen Bingo every Saturday up until his passing. Fred will be lovingly remembered by Gwen Clibbery-King and her dog, Bijoux. A special thank you to his good friend Mike, who has always helped him out over the years. Fred was a very kind person with a big heart. He loved to talk to people and always had a good story to tell. “If you give love, you will receive love.” Fred…we love you and will miss you! As per Fred’s request, there will be no service.
