My sincere condolences Holly & Megan, may you find comfort in your memories.
I had the pleasure of working with Ken at Cochrane/Genivar and he was one of the nicest, most sincere people I have met.
Rest in peace my friend.

My sincere condolences to Holly, Megan, Gail, and Adolf. Ken and I started DMCI together in 1959. We quickly became fast friends and hung together in high school, Engineering, and SPD fraternity. I went west to seek my fortune and geed, while he stayed here and hawed. We drifted apart. When we finally reconnected a couple of years ago he had the same quick wit, wry smile, love of debate and killer sense of humour that everybody enjoyed years ago. I didn't hear him sing, but he used to sing like a bird. He was a true, loyal friend, I wish we had more time to finish our wish list. RIP Ken.

Our deepest sincerest sympathies go out to you Holly and Megan. But also to Gail and Adolphe and their families. Ken was a very kind, intelligent, interesting person and fun to be around. He always loved a good debate. His sense of humor was a great quality of his. Over the course of 50+ years we had many memorable times together but the most fun was when we played charades. His interpretations and demonstrations of those phrases were beyond comical. We will always cherish and keep in our memories times spent together and we will miss Ken greatly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.
With love, Chris and Stan

I have been friends with Ken and Holly for over 35 years and, during that time, there were several standout moments that I shall remember about Ken. First he was a family man. He loved his mother and it was obvious the feeling was mutual. He loved Holly there was no doubt about that. He always had her back, standing by her through thick and thin. Likewise, he relied on Holly for pretty much everything. It worked. And, when Megan came along, well, that was just the icing on the cake for him. Both were strong willed and while there some battles when they disagreed, in the end, there was no doubt they loved one another to the moon and back. And, then, came the fur babies, who he loved with an unwavering passion. His family was complete.
Secondly, I remember how he hated to eat, but loved cooking shows and trying out the recipes on the rest of us. We learned to love them all. And, finally, I remember how much Ken cared for other people. Many times he bailed me out when I needed it and for that I'm eternally grateful. He cared for the underdog, for the people, less valued. And, typical of a Libra, he cared for what was right and what was wrong. These were his values. This is some of what I will miss in Ken. RIP Ken, you earned it.

Condolences to you Holly. Even though I only saw him a few times while you were still with the Child Development Clinic, he was always interesting to talk to on a wide variety of topics. His quick wit sense of humour sticks in my mind as one of his endearing qualities.
