Obituary of Irene Calder

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Calder (nee: Bourgouin) on January 2, 2022 at age 77 years. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 34 years William (Bill); son Mario Blais (Marni); granddaughters Kristie and Zabrina (Cory); great-granddaughter Victoria; niece Crystal (Allan, Addie and Avery); Bill’s children and their families; favourite cousin Diane and family; and many other family members and friends. Irene was predeceased by her parents Joe and Alice; her brother Tom; and also her beloved dog Missy. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and care aides at Bethesda Regional Health Centre for their compassionate care. Due to circumstances, there will be no service. Donations in Irene’s memory can be made to The Lung Association of Manitoba; CNIB - Guide Dogs; Winnipeg Humane Society; Cancer Care Manitoba; or a charity of your choice
