The commemorative service for Abe was beautiful and Tim Friesen’s tribute to his father was so eloquent. We appreciated being able to attend the service virtually. We met Abe through Denise and it was apparent that he made her life light up. It is sad that such a fine person has left us so soon. We regret that we did not get to know him better and are sadly remineded to make the best use of the time we have with friends and family. To the Friesen family and Denise, we wish you strength in your sadness and peace in the time to come.

I met Abe many years ago through my friend Denise. While it was clear that Abe felt lucky to have Denise in his life, I also knew how happy she was to have him in hers. I was fortunate to share some good food, good laughs and the "odd" glass of wine with the two of them over the years. Abe was one of the "good guys" and he will be missed. Rest in Peace, my friend.

I've known Abe for years, we hadn't been in touch for quite some time but I never forgot the laughs we had together and the deep serious talks we had about various topics..You will be missed and not forgotten Abe..I look forward to seeing you again in Heaven, sit-down and have a coffee together..Trucks were your passion, so if there are Trucks over there, I'm sure you were assigned to a beautiful one..

Our heartfelt condolences to Denise and the Friesen family. We were so happy to see Denise able to expereince all the joys and adventures with a gentleman and all around great guy. The beautiful obituary written by his son is a reflection of the man and companion Abe was for my sister. We know how he will be missed

I was honored to have known Abe for several years . Although we did not get together as often as we perhaps would have liked , we did enjoy each others company , and stories. Abe will be forever remembered as the man he was , a goal for many to attempt to achieve !

Denise and family, I send my heartfelt condolences. ♥ I was very fortunate to have crossed paths with Abe on 2 occasions with my dear friend, Denise. A true gentlemen and kind soul. Abe left a huge "imprint" in both of those instances! I was also very blessed to have spoken with him on the phone while he was in Riverview. Grateful for these opportunities. May many wonderful memories provide comfort of a life well lived. Love Robin Polley
