Obituary of Diane Cecile Espenell

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our sister Diane Cecile Espenell on January 20, 2022 at Riverview Health Centre. Diane leaves to mourn her sisters Celine (Cam), Vivianne, Claudette (Larry), Rolly (Harvey), Emily (Ron), Polly (John), Carol (Blaine); brothers Denis (Valerie), Richard (Roxanne), Maurice (Michelle); and numerous nieces and nephews. Diane was predeceased by her parents Henri and Fernande; sister Katherine; brothers Larry and Rheal; and nephew Darrell. Diane was a thoughtful and kind person always putting others before herself. She was gentle and soft spoken and would lend an ear to anyone who needed to talk. She had a great sense of humour and many memories were made laughing and joking with her siblings. Diane loved fast cars and in her younger years spent many evenings dragging in her ’72 Mustang with the young airmen from C.F.B. Southport, on the main drag in Portage La Prairie. She was a pet lover and was fond of her furry friends Jake and Cassie. As per her wishes there will be no service. A private scattering will take place at a later date. Donations in her honour, can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
