Obituary of Marianne Berst

Marianne passed away on March 22, 2022 at River Park Gardens Personal Care Home. Marianne is survived by her children Karin (Robert), Peter, Susan (Neil) and Christine; and grandchildren Jeffrey, Erik, Scott, Kelly, Matt, Katie and Mark. She was predeceased by her husband, Eric, on January 22, 2019. Marianne and Eric emigrated from Kaiserslautern, Germany in 1956 and never regretted their move to Canada. Marianne will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, who devoted her life to raising her family and taking care of her home. Her welcoming nature and culinary talents will be sorely missed. The family would like to thank the staff at River Park Gardens for their care and compassion during Mom's residence.
