Obituary of Terence James (Terry) Myers

Peacefully, in his sleep, Terry died at St. Boniface Hospital (Palliative Care Unit) in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Formerly of England, Sudbury, ON, Vancouver, BC, Indonesia and Thompson, MB. Beloved husband of Grace Myers, loving and loved father of Elizabeth Myers both of Winnipeg, MB. Left to mourn his passing are his sister Anita (Tony) and niece Tracy (Andrew) and grand-nephews Ben and David, all of England; brother-in-law Tom (Kathy) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, nephews Matthew (Cheryl), Tim (Christy), Mark (Jenn) and Michael; eight grandnieces and grand-nephews all of Canada, and numerous friends in Canada and England. Terry worked for Inco/Vale on and off for 44 years, retiring in April of 2011 in Thompson. He enjoyed getting together with family and friends, travelling, reading, sailing and his much loved canine and feline companions. He especially enjoyed making everybody laugh and had a talent for doing that. Private celebration of Terry's life will be held at a future date. No funeral services as per his wishes.
