Our hearts were very saddened to hear about the passing of my brother Cordell. Our condolences to Bev. and family from your Alberta family. Cordell was the sixth child of our parents Elmer and Martha Bestland. Growing up I remember Cookie as loving to drive at any opportunity, well able to bat the ball way out of the ball field scoring a home run and helping my Mother wrap Christmas gifts on many Christmas eves. I also remember trying to swipe dessert from Cookies plate and absolutely not getting away with the incident. In recent years I’d ask Cookie how he was doing ,the answer was “fine” and “ it could always be much worse” Thank you Bev. for your years of loving care and a fond farewell to my brother “Cookie”
