Obituary of Kim John Mostowy

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kim Mostowy, on November 6, 2022 at the of age 66 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, after a short battle with cancer. Kim will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Irene; children Paul, Kathryn (Steven), and Michael (Judy); sister Debbie (Art); his pride and joy, his grandchildren Madison, Eli, Jaxson and Leia; brothers-in-law Bill (Shari), Dennis; sisters-in-law Jo-Anne (Mark), Juanita (Mark), Marilyn (Bob); numerous nieces and nephews; and cousins. Kim was born in Selkirk to Georgene and John Mostowy. He grew up in Selkirk and lived there most of his life with Irene and their children before moving to Winnipeg recently. He was a hard working man yet spending time with his children and grandchildren was what he enjoyed the most. Kim loved the outdoors and had spent a lot of time hunting, fishing, going for long walks and racing RC cars, activities he shared with his children and grandchildren. The pain of losing you is immeasurable, and it breaks our heart that you were taken unexpectedly. Your memory will never leave us and live long in our hearts. Cremation has taken place and as per Kim’s wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Care Manitoba.
