We were saddened to hear of the passing of this very special lady. Joyce was a huge part of our lives and we affectionately referred to her as grandma Joyce. I worked for Joyce for a number of years and always held a special place in our hearts for this wonderful women. She was a role model and our years working for her were some of our best memories at River East Arena, and we were known as her “wieners”. She will never know how many young girls lives she had a role in mentoring, with her kind and caring role as our boss. After her sister Marge passed away, Whitney grew closer to her and Joyce said she would be Whitney’s grandma now. Her whole family was always the light of her life and I am so glad we were able to known her for over 45 years, and be part of her life. You are loved, will be remembered and cherished till we meet again. Miss you forever. I hope you and Marge can now get into all the trouble you two used to!
