Obituary of Terry Johnathan Sernowski

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce our Dad, Husband, Brother, Uncle and Friend Terry Johnathan Sernowski left this world following his courageous battle with cancer. 

Terry leaves to mourn the three greatest loves of his life, wife Sandy and twin girls Megan (Zach) and Madison (Cam); brother Gerald (Rhiannon) niece Adrianna, nephew Declan. 

Terry is predeceased by his parents Frank and Leslee (Turner) and chihuahua Penelope.

Terry moved to Winnipeg from Dauphin after graduation; in 1995 fell heart and soul in love with Sandy and three years later, welcomed the lights of his life Megan and Madison.

After moving to BC then Alberta, he came full circle and returned to Winnipeg where he worked as a welder.  Looking for a change, he chose a new path into the correctional services division.

In true Terry fashion, his midlife crisis involved the purchase of his pride and joy Harley Davidson and later took a bucket list solo ride through the Rocky Mountains.

The travel bug brought him to Mexico where he fell in love with the people, the colours and the culture.

Terry leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity and a true passion for life. He will be deeply missed by all his family, friends, and all who knew him. His kind and gentle spirit, infectious voice, and warm personality have touched countless hearts and will forever be remembered.

It started with I love you and it will end with I love you.
