Obituary of Elizabeth Smith

Surrounded by her loving husband, David Smith, her two sons, Ian Klassen (Andrea), Matt Klassen (Misty), and brother-in-law Doug Smith, Elizabeth (Liz) Smith peacefully passed away on June 29, 2023 at the age of 69.

Liz was born in Winnipeg on August 1, 1953.  She was one of seven children from a close-knit Catholic family.  

Liz’s passion was found outside.  She would spend hours outside listening to music and working on her and David’s vegetable garden, which they took tremendous pride in.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Leona, and her sisters, Christina and June; grandparents; numerous aunts and uncles; and brothers in law Barry and Joe.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband David Smith of 29 years, her two children and four grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes Liz has been cremated and the family will not be holding a service.
