Obituary of Marion Violet Patricia Adam

Marion Violet Patricia Adam was born on April 16, 1948, in Winnipeg MB to parents Jessie Frances and Alexander Thomson Adam. Marion passed away peacefully on June 27, 2023 at Riverview Health Centre, Winnipeg.  

Marion was a beloved aunt to her nephew Craig Adam (wife Judy, and their children), and was cherished by her dear friends, close neighbours, and caring support staff. 

Marion was a woman of quiet faith who found comfort and peace in God. Marion enjoyed attending dessert nights and other events with her friends at a Christian Women's group.  

Marion had a solid routine that rarely changed; she lived a simple life filled with vibrance and joy. Some of Marion's favourite activities included going for coffee, watching her TV shows, and reading up on the latest Royal Family news. She loved keeping up to date on world news and discussing current events.  

Marion never missed an opportunity to celebrate. She loved visiting with her girlfriends and their families, celebrating every birthday and holiday with them. She was a kind and generous soul who was always looking out for others. 

Marion will be laid to rest in a family plot in Darlingford, Manitoba. A special thanks to the WRHA Palliative Care Teams who supported Marion in her final days. Thank you also to all of Marion’s friends and staff who kept her company (in person, on the phone, and in your prayers) throughout her final days. 

Marion will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her fiery spirit, and her love for all those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
