It was an honour to have had Mark in my life for many decades.
The fact that I am writing this is a testimonial to his humanity bravery and strength. As while serving a warrant with Mark in 1995. Mark observed a male that was armed and had targeted me. I never seen this at the time. Mark, placing himself in harms way for me. In an instant got me out of harms way and disarmed the male.
If not for the selfless actions of Mark, I would not be here to write this today.
God bless you my old friend in your new journey with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Chuck

We will all remember Mark as an amazing person and a great friend and this memory truly means a lot. I learned from him how to conduct court and how to be firm and professional in court. He contributed a lot to who I am professionally today.
Certainly, I knew of the existence of Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra before I worked with Mark but it was he who put the music on every time we had to code long dockets, and that made the difference. Every time I hear What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong I think of Mark, I call it Mark's song.
My deepest and sincere condolences to the Blais Family.
Sincerely, Victoria Lyonin

Mark was always the ultimate gentleman and made of steel. He was always someone you could trust while working in our dangerous type of occupation. He was a true athlete who enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He will be missed by his loving family and all the many friends and co-workers from over the years.
My deepest condolences to the Blais Family.
Very Sincerely, Bill Bell.

I will always remember this canoe/kayak trip to Mcgregor Falls. The 5 of us certainly all enjoyed the each others company, the adventure, and the tranquility ... our next trip will definitely be a little different but Mark will be with us in spirit and memories ❤️
