Obituary of Lorraine Rosalie Anne Antosh

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorraine Antosh (70), of Winnipeg, Manitoba.  Thankfully, she died peacefully in her sleep on August 23, 2023 after a long, hard struggle with many health complications.  

Lorraine is predeceased by her partner Rollie; her parents Jim and Lena Antosh; brother Ernie Antosh; sister Bev Guethert; and her faithful companion pup, Baron.

Left to mourn are her siblings Wesley Antosh, Cheryl Antosh, Wendy (Shael) Bassett, Marj (Brian) Bugara, Bryan Antosh, Karen (Corey d.) Herlevsen, Dennis (Denise) Antosh; and sister-in-law Jeanne Alexander.

She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews that she enjoyed and treasured every minute of time she could spend with them.

Lorraine was born in The Pas, Manitoba on December 10, 1952.  Over her lifetime she lived in many places from the east to the west, making Winnipeg her final home. She worked at CNR for the majority of her years, following in her father's footsteps.

One of our most treasured memories of Lorraine was when she dressed up as Santa Claus for yearly deliveries of a sack full of gifts to the nieces and nephews that she loved to spoil.

She enjoyed visiting, camping, fishing, traveling, board games and especially cards and cribbage.

Lorraine made many friends along the way, too numerous to mention them all!  But a special thanks to Judy (who called her daily), Edie, Eric, Marsha and Sandra (who spent many days and hours with her until her last breath).

Rest in Peace Lorraine.
