Obituary of Patricia Yvonne Stein

Patricia Yvonne Stein was born on June 16, 1943 in England to Phyllis and Charles. She was the beloved wife of Donald (Doc) Stein and the loving mother of Donna, John and Patrick. Patricia was a kind and gentle soul who was always ready to lend a helping hand. She was an active member of her church choir and sang with the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir for a brief period. She also worked at the Bay in Kildonan Place and Sears in Kildonan Place for a total of 20 years. Patricia was diagnosed with dementia in her later years, but she still managed to greet everyone with a smile and a kind word.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Phyllis and Charles.

She is survived by her husband, Donald, her daughter, Donna (Ron); her sons, John(Ingrid) and Patrick; her 5 grandchildren Jake, Charles, William, Samantha, and Rhonda. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Concordia Hospital for making Patricia’s final days comfortable, and the home care staff who came to help her every day. Patricia will be remembered for her kind heart and gentle spirit.

She will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Now she can sing with the angels in heaven.
