Obituary of Marlene Doris Thorarinson

After a sudden decline in health, Marlene Doris Thorarinson passed away with family by her side at the Grace Hospital on January 1, 2024 at the age of 71 years.

Marlene was predeceased by mother Agnes, father Alexander, sister Jessie and step mother Laurie.

Left to mourn are step-father Ralph; sister Trina (Stephen); brother in law Bill; niece Marla (Scott); nephew Matthew; niece Margo (Ryan); niece Haley and nephew Mackinley. 

Marlene also had very many longtime friends, colleagues and dog people who will miss her.

Marlene loved to travel and was a world traveler. She'd been to so many places from Dubai, Germany, France and Portugal just to name a few.

She also was heavily involved in the dog world after getting her first border terrier Tango.  From there she also got Lillie, Bentley and Robbie.  She loved those dogs so much and I know Bentley and Robbie will miss her greatly.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life and a private family interment will take place at later dates.

I hope you're at peace Auntie Mar. You will be loved and cherished forever.
