In Loving Memory of Darlene Hall

Darlene Hall, an incredible mother, sister, nana, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 17, 2024.

Darlene is survived by her three devoted children, Victoria (Ron), Melanie (Christian), and Jason (Carrie); her brother Michael; her niece, Doreen Beck who was not just family but also her closest friend, sharing countless cherished memories together.

Her family was her world, as she would always be at her happiest when her family was together. Her love shone brightest when in the company of her grandchildren, Jesse, Dakota, Brieanne, Morgan, Kylie, and her fur grandbabies Kira, Nina, and Emma. She was additionally blessed in becoming Nana to Ron's three children, Andrew, Cory, and Tess, and a great-nana to each of their children over the years.

Darlene was predeceased by her loving husband Kenneth; her parents Jean and Fred Costigan; and her brothers Norman and Raymond.

Even though she had a rough childhood, this helped Darlene become the incredibly strong and independent woman she was. Her huge heart showed no limitations in who she gave her love to, as evident by her children's friends often calling her "mom."

Even though she battled breast cancer, endured chemotherapy treatments and declining health for the last few years, which eventually evolved to Stage 4 cancer, Darlene never stopped sharing her love for those around her.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses, health care aides, and Dr. Perry from 2W at Riverview Health Center for their incredible care and understanding in taking care of Darlene in her last month of life. Words cannot express how much we truly appreciated how comfortable and cared for the team made Darlene feel when her family couldn't be there.
