Mes sincères condoléances à M. et Mme Plouffe, Holly, Kim et toute la famille. Une si triste nouvelles pourtant, je ne peux pas m’empêcher de sourire chaque fois que je pense à Gary. Gary had such a gentle, friendly way about him. And his sense of humour was awesome! As classmates at École Précieux-Sang, we first saw Gary’s talents in Soeur Jamault’s Grade 7 French/Theatre class. The ultimate prize was winning the school competition to compete at Théâtre Cercle Molière’s Festival Theatre Jeunesse. By the time we graduated, Gary, Bernie, Gil R Marc B and Charlie P were already pros, and the rest, as they say, is history. The word “garage band” brings back memories of the Plouffes’ on Ashdale. We thought they were such rock stars! Even years later, if I spotted him at a gig, I’d shout « Pary Glouffe! » and was always met with a smile and a hug. Winnipeg’s theatre scene won’t be the same without him. Bon voyage Pary Glouffe!
