We were so saddened to learn about George’s passing. George was our milkman for 36 years. Over that time, we got to know him as an affable and engaging human being. Our kids’ recollection of George is that he was the guy who would add chocolate milk to our order every now and then as a treat for them. We will miss him. Our deepest condolences to Cathy and the family.

I was shocked and saddened when I read about the passing of George. We went back a long way having grown up a couple of blocks apart in East Kildonan. As usual as we grew older we went our separate ways but occasionally our paths would cross. It was always nice catching up and our conversations were always interesting and fun.
We ended up living in the same area just outside the city and every once in awhile I would catch a glimpse of George behind the wheel of his latest acquisition. He certainly appreciated a fine automobile. My deepest condolences go out to his family .

To Cathy and Family We were very saddened to learn of George's passing. Although we had not kept in touch for many years, Brian and I have many memories of the fun times and adventures we shared in the 80's in Winnipeg and at our cottage on Lake of the Woods. I met George as a teenager and then we became neighbors on Regatta Road. Our paths crossed again within this past year when I saw him still in the business of delivering milk. We were able to briefly catch up on where our lives had taken us in the past 25 or so years. George was always a lot of fun to be around and it sounds like he had a wonderful life surrounded by family and we are sure he will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences to you. I was so sorry to hear about George's death. He was so young! I have not been in contact with George for many, many years, but have many fine memories of him when we were kids. I am a cousin a few years younger and adored George. He and his family visited us on the farm in Hargrave, George was daring, exciting, and fun! We had many adventures, and some of them ended in us getting in a bit of trouble, but you know how parents are!! He also spent time with our family at the Lake, and was determined to learn to water ski. In one week, he was a pro, and I am happy to read that he kept that sport up. I am also warmed to read of his love and care of animals in need. We share that, and I will donate to a local organization in his memory. He will always have a place in my heart. My deepest condolences to his family. Be strong. Betty Peloquin.

I have not seen George for many years but have fond memories of times spent at the Sinclair home when we were youngsters. My mother, Margaret, and George’s mom, Dorothy, were very good friends. So sorry to hear about George. My condolences to his family.
