Obituary of Dan Joseph Romaniuk
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dan Joseph Romaniuk at his home in Lorette Manitoba.
Dan is survived by his wife of 56 years Yvonne (nee Landry); son Glenn Romaniuk (Marcia) and their children, Avry and Neve; daughter Tracy Wallace (Kelly) and their children Ethan, Owen, and Ainsley; sister Sophie Burak; brothers Bill and Don Romaniuk (Adeline); in-laws Roland Landry (Angie), Philippe Landry (Josie), Monique DelGallo (Greg), Annette and Luc Landry, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ann Romaniuk; sister in-law Helen Romaniuk; brother in-law Bohden Burak; and parents in-law Arthur and Eugenie Landry.
Dan was born in Lorette Manitoba and lived there his entire life. Dan enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed meeting his friends for coffee daily at the local restaurant where he enjoyed teasing the staff and friends.
Dan was a hard working person that took great pride in his work. He was fortunate to have many skills; manufacturing, farming, and carpentry. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others with their projects. We were all amazed how at his age he was interested in learning about the latest technology; this interest developed from always wanting to know the way things work.
Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and adored all of his grandkids. He enjoyed spending quality time and making great memories with all of them.
We love you dearly and will always carry with us all the great memories we made together. Until we meet again.
In view of the pandemic restrictions a private funeral will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
