I was so saddened to hear of Cindy's passing. I appreciated her help with my housework when I broke my elbow eight years ago and am glad that we became friends, a friendship that I will miss. I always looked forward to our Tuesday morning chats about her family. She was very proud of the accomplishments and lives of her boys, Floyd and Robert and her husband Lloyd. She will be missed.
My condolences!

My deepest condolences to Lloyd, Floyd, Robert as well as Cindy’s siblings, nieces and nephews. I was so looking forward to my move back to Manitoba so that I could see my best friend on a regular basis, rather than just one day a year when I came home for a visit but am also grateful that she is no longer suffering. Until we meet again my friend.

Cindy was the town daycare when we were littluns. Some of my earliest memories are of her, Lloyd, and the boys from the Bergner home. I can remember so many different activities and it was all good. Cindy will always be a cherished part of my childhood. Condolences to Lloyd, Floyd, and Robert.

We have so many fond memories of Cindy. She was loving and a lovely person that brought joy to many. Cindy had a great sense of humour. She was a fun person to be with, either playing cards or games, visiting or dancing with her and her sisters at a New Years party or a wedding. She loved the people in her life and in return we all loved her too. Cindy will be missed by so many. Our hearts go out to Lloyd and family and her siblings. We love you all. God’s Blessings during this difficult time. Aunt Gena and Uncle Dave

Every year for the 37 years since I moved from Winnipeg to Alberta Cindy would ask me when I was moving back. My response to her was always, “maybe next year”. I finally decided to make the move back to be with my family and my best friend. She told me just the week before her passing that she would believe it when she saw it. Sadly I never made it back in time for her to see it, however I did get to speak with Lloyd as I was coming into town the night before her passing so hopefully she knew I was here. Cindy was and always will be my best friend. She was caring and completely selfless, never once wanting to burden someone else with her problems. She could find humour in anything and everything and made the best out out of each and every day. When I married and brought my husband and stepson to Winnipeg for the first time Cindy instantly treated them like family. Floyd and Robert referred to my stepson as “the new kid” and Lloyd was very welcoming to my husband. Cindy told me that since her and I were family that everyone had to accept my new additions to the family whether they liked it or not!
Every day spent with Cindy was a good day and there is now another emptiness in my heart that can never be filled or replaced. Until we meet again my friend…. I will love you forever❤️ Vicki
