Dear Caroline, Sasha, Michael & Bethany, I was very saddened to hear of ur husband & father's passing.
I remember when I came to visit at ur home in the north end. It was the beginning of a friendship with ur family. In times past, Sam, myself, Paulette & Richard got together to share a meal, enjoy the outdoors,;"in the country" & play games later, in ur home in Eli. On a Sabbath, a few of us came to ur home near Lockport to enjoy some time together. Food was great & walk outdoors was wonderful!
At Sam's funeral, Alan shared that Sam was his best friend. They spent time together as friends!
Last fall, Alan invited me along with Caroline, & my brother Dan to go for a boat ride to Lockport on a beautiful Sunday. It was wonderful to be together eating snacks & sharing memories of days gone by. Alan will be missed very much.
